Oster Egg Cooker

Are you looking for a Christmas or wedding gift? Or perhaps you just love eggs? Either way the Oster Egg
Cooker is able to give you amazing soft, medium, or hard boiled, or even poached eggs in less than 20
minutes. Let’s see how it compares to doing things with a pot of water.

This cooker tops many others in the fact that is can hard boil 8 eggs at a time. I also like the fact that you
can see inside while the eggs are cooking. I’m always curious and wanting to see things and this helps satisfy my
curiosity.
If you like poached eggs this can handle 4 at a time. Sure it’s not going to take care of your whole family at
one time but it’s enough to get the job done while they are eating other things. You still need some nonstick spray
and follow the directions but it is a breeze.
The biggest thing I love about this egg cooker is that it automatically shuts off when the eggs are done. I
always hated worrying about the ones that beep but continue cooking. Cooking in the kitchen is a stressful event
and you need all the help you can get, right?
The only thing that isn’t so hot is the fact that you can’t put this unit in to the dishwasher. In fact I think
it’s probably best you don’t put any of them in because some of the parts don’t feel like they can take some damage
in there. Also the smell of sulfur seems to be something that is common with all egg cookers so I can’t really
place the blame on this particular unit.
It usually costs around $30 but you really do get what you pay for. There is no doubt in my mind that the
Oster egg cooker is one of the best. If you head to Amazon.com you will find many positive reviews
and other tips that can help your cooking experience.
